Permits

Permits provide alternatives to parents who do not wish to send their children to the local public schools to which they are assigned. If a school is not filled to its capacity with existing students and incoming neighborhood students, students living outside the neighborhood boundaries of a school may apply to that school through an application process.  Schools may accept students until they are filled to capacity.  There are three types of permits offered:  Schools of Choice Permits, Interdistrict Incoming Permits and Interdistrict Outgoing Permits.
 

Priority deadline for the next school year is from November 21, 2022 to February 1st, 2023.  Requests received after the February 1st deadline will be reviewed and/or processed on a case-by-case basis.
